His first talk apparently at such a conference!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" size="1"&gt;The session&amp;nbsp;focused on tools, tips and tricks you can use to increase the efficiency of your development, deployment, and testing process of Pocket PC and Smartphone applications.&amp;nbsp;He demoed&amp;nbsp;some key tools for enhancing your productivity, ranging from improvements to the device emulator, various configuration and automation tools, debugging techniques, as well as general tips, tricks and best practices for more efficient development. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" size="1"&gt;His use of the Pocket PC and Smartphone emulators was 1st class, demonstrating deep knowledge of the systems and how to maximise their use for debugging. Randy works on browser.dll for the Pocket Internet Explorer team.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" size="1"&gt;I hope to see him again at future MS conferences; his style and clarity are welcome!&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" size="1"&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;img src="http://www.sharepointblogs.com/neilgeddes/aggbug/231.aspx" width="1" height="1" alt="" /&gt;

Lot&amp;#39;s of good information on the differences between SharePoint Portal Server and WSS, how to write and use web parts, make the best use of lists and document libraries.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" size="1"&gt;I&amp;#39;m really hoping to get into WSS more and develop mobile centric applications around these sites.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" size="1"&gt;Have the Microsoft Mobile DevCon coming up next in San Francisco 23-27 March where the focus on these topics will be much deeper.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;img src="http://www.sharepointblogs.com/neilgeddes/aggbug/157.aspx" width="1" height="1" alt="" /&gt;
