Body: Whew! I just got back to the Beach (where I'm staying in FL) - after speaking at 2 sessions in the Orlando Code Camp. This was a GERaT Code Camp - but it was sure hard for me. I've been super, super busy - had our user group Launch the day before I flew to FL - and had my primary laptop blow out on me at the launch so I arrived in FL with literally nothing prepared (other than a slide deck - and we all know slides don't cut it at a Code Camp!!) Anyway, I pulled an all nighter Firday night, drove the hour over to the Code Camp location and managed to get through my session on SQL Server Reporting Services and SharePoint integration without too much trouble - although I didn't have a working demo to show. I was however nearly sick with worry about my afternoon session on extending the COdePlex Color Calendar - because I knew my virtual wasn't confgiured adequately AND it's a new topic for me - so nothing I could rely on my experience to talk on. So taking advice from my fellow Code Camp speakers, I just let the audience know I wasn't prepared to speak on coding the color calendar, gave attendees an opportunity to cut out, and demoed the use of the Color Calendar along with building Workflows using SharePoint Designer - something I DO know about! All in all, given the all-nighter and stress of having my laptop die on my the day before I flew to FL, it didn't go so bad. Thanks to all who put up with my ill-prepared sessions. I enjoyed discussing SharePoint topics with you all! ANd thanks to a great bunch of people int he Central Fl .NET community.
