I have published an InfoPath form with a 'Time' field and now i couldn't remove this site column. Is there a work around to remove the site column?

I am looking for and example that...When the user finishes adding content, provide a list for the user to select an Approver. The user would select a name from a drop down list, it a submit button and send that person an email. The receipient receiving the email would click on a URL back into the form and approve the content. Do you have an example for this? Please send to Louise.F.Rhinesmith@jpmorgan.com

I have a similar issue with updating form templates but only when the number of promoted fields passes a certain limit.

This is a real problem and is causing huge logistical problems for me.

Also, when the update of the template fails it sometimes has created some or all of the required sharepoint columns but since the process fails we end up with multiple instances of the same column, very untidy and you can only deleted them if they were set to be editable.

As a graphic designer rather than a program designer, I have some issues with InfoPath 2007. You mentioned one above with the Ctrl A not consistently changing all of the fonts.

I have another one for you ... do you know how to custom design buttons?

I'm also getting 'Updating content type failed' error message whenever trying to re-publish an infoPath form template to the same library.

I'm running MOSS and when I try to re-publish 31 it’s OK, but above 49 columns to the SharePoint form library, when it fails. And I get many duplicate columns.

Please provide a solution on how to fix this problem without deleting data from my SharePoint site.

HI there,

I am trying to publish a form to a Form Library and I am trying to use existing site columns. I have created a simple form with one field and have marked it for Property Promotion.

When I go to deploy I find the Gender Site Column and map it to my field. When I go to create new entry in form it does not show up as a choice but empty text box.

Any help is appreciated.

I also get this exact error message.

We have MOSS farm with 3 web servers, app server/Central Admin host,

index server, and a query server and I am using MOSS2007 Enterprise

version. We are using ISA Server 2007 that acts as a reverse proxy

but not as a firewall. The ISA also provides https to http bridging.

I don't have a proxy server.

The issue is I get a "Critical Error" when I "Submit for Approval" a

site using a Publishing with workflow template. I get to the Start

Parallel Approval page, click Start and the "sending data to the

server" pop-up window displays, then the Critical Error appears. One

thing I also noticed is that the Approvers field is grayed out.

I have tried a few things, including: configuring Infopath on central

admin, turning the enterprise features on (it is by default), checked

the log files but nothing stood out, and ststadm

reconvertallformtemplates but no success yet. AAM is not an option

because our external URLs are the same as our internal URLs.

The exact message is this:

There has been an error while loading the form.

Click Start Over to load a new copy of the form. If this error

persists, contact the support team for the website.

Click Close to exit this message

Any ideas?
