Yes I did it. Over the weekend myself and a few friends hiked Ben Nevis, yes all 4500ft of it!!. It took us 7 hours to drive to Fort William, Scotland on Friday. We decided to stay in a Youth Hostel at the bottom of the hike trail which was cool. We started out on Saturday morning and made it to the top in 4 hours!! I know it's not the fastest time in the world but hey it was hard work!! Upon arriving at the top we were presented with a snow capped mountain!! Oh yes, not only did we get great weather, nice and sunny but snow as well!!! After taking in the views (amazing), we hiked it back down in 3 hours!! Upon arriving at the bottom back at the Youth Hostel, it was nice to more or less pass out on the floor.... It was all worth it though and was great fun. I would do it again but not for a while. My whole body ached for a while but it was worth it. Anyway watch this space I will be back to blogging as normal soon. Just taking a little rest this week. Have fun.
